Here’s some easy Saint Patrick’s Day Decor that I was rushing around to get made, so that I would have something for Saint Patrick’s Day to take to the craft mall.
Started out as just one then ended up as three because I forgot the clover should be a four leaf clover to symbolize Good Luck!
I started out with a piece of cedar that I had used my wood aging solution on.
Then I lightly dry brushed some white acrylic paint into the front and sides of the picket.
I used a heart sponge to make my clovers.
When I got ready to stencil the word Lucky I realized my mistake with the clovers on each end.
Luckily my cedar picket was long enough where I was able to cut each end off with the three leaf clovers and still have enough left to add a four leaf clover.
I then connected the clover leafs and added a stem, and now I have two extra Saint Patrick’s Day Decor blocks.
I added my four leaf clover and connected the hearts and add the stem in green then stenciled Lucky in white.
Once dry I went back and stenciled green over the white leaving a little white showing.
That’s how I got three diy Saint Patrick’s Day Decor projects from one. Have you ever made a mistake that turned out better after all?
