This week’s featured artist is Sandi of “iKnitQuiltSew”. Sandi started her shop to give her an outlet for her passions, which is all in the name of her shop. Sandi is a self-taught quilter. Her main medium is fabric and yarn.
Sandi’s grandmother taught her how to knit and sew before color TV was invented! Most of her knitting comes from her patterns which her grandmother claims were her mother’s - Dated back to the late 1800s! This is what gives her knitting an old-fashion.
You can find Sandi either working on one thing or another, or somewhere high up in the mountain meadow with her husband trying to catch dinner in one of the many streams, creeks or ponds, near where she lives.
IKnitQuiltSew offers boutique quality for mom and baby at affordable prices. She specializes in baby quilts all handmade and hand quilted. She also makes the cuties handmade rag dolls and teddy bears.
Sandi is delighted to receive custom.
When Sandi is not working on something or out catching dinner you can find her at some of the places below.
