Easy Homemade Chicken Quesadillas

I love Tex Mex, and one of my favorites is a good Chicken Quesadilla. So today I am going to share with you my version of a homemade Chicken Quesadillas.

Ingredients Needed For Homemade Chicken Quesadillas

  • Cooked shredded chicken
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sliced or chopped bell peppers
  • Sliced or chopped onion

Homemade chicken  quesadillas

I cooked my chicken the day before in the crockpot with taco seasoning.

How To Make Chicken Quesadillas

Lightly grease a large pan, while your pan is heating start building your quesadilla’s. Add shredded chicken to a flour tortilla,

Add some bell peppers

Add your onions

Top with shredded cheese

Fold in half then place in a hot lightly greased pan on medium high heat.

Cook till golden brown on one side then gently flip over and brown the other side.


Serve your homemade chicken quesadilla’s with sour cream, hot sauce, and guacamole.

    Quesadillas are one of our favorite dinners! I like being able to hide healthy things in them for my daughter. =) We’ve found that our George Foreman grill is awesome for cooking the quesadillas!

      That is a great idea! I haven’t thought of that, and we just bought us a new larger George Foreman grill. I will give it a try, we will be able to eat them that much faster. (-;
