Yesterday was a good day. For starters I got the day off. YAY! I don’t get very many weekend days off. And to top it off we went to a few garage sales and I found a couple things that I’ve been wanting. The bowling ball, and the hubcaps are for some yard DIY projects that I seen on HomeTalk, and have been wanting to make since I seen them. I won’t tell you what they are, you will just have to wait and see. My good day didn’t end there. To top it…

I Can Always Find Time For Junkin Trips
Hi, my crafty friends! Today I will be sharing my latest thrifty finds from the 2018 Antique Alley junkin trip instead of a diy project. It’s tough juggling a fulltime job, and blog and everything that goes with having a blog, plus daily chores around the house. Then on top of that, I h…
Repurposed Handsaw Into Honey Do Magnet Board
…nothing like a grater, and that is true. But after digging through all my thrifty finds that was the only thing I came up with that was metal. And seeing that it is a saw, some may think it’s a little odd hanging a saw in your living area to display pictures on, that’s when I decided to make it a honey do board. Now another dilemma , button magnets wouldn’t look right. So off to the garage to see what I could come up with. Not much, one nut, wa…
Fridays Trip to Goodwill
Hi All! Just a quick peek at my thrifty finds from my Fridays trip to Goodwill. All for under $10! The wire basket and candle holer are both going in our outdoors vintage garden. The plastic bag holder (at least thats what I think it is) will be turned into a squirrel treat feeder. That’s my plan anyway. Closing off the top and mounting it sideways, then I can put nuts in it and the squirrels can crawl in to get the nuts. But that idea could chan…
