Hi All! If you’ve been following me for long then you know how I love easy projects, and nothing can be easier then a upcycled bottle project.

So today I am going to share with you another one of my easy diy project, an upcycled bottle made into a Fourth of July vase.

Upcycled Bottle Into Fourth Of July Vase

Upcycled Bottle

First clean and dry your bottle,

then add two coats of antique white chalk paint, letting each coat dry throughly.  I find that chalk paint sticks better to glass then acrylic’s.

Painted the top 1/3 part of your bottle with Midnight blue acrylic. Add two coat, drying throughly between coats.

Now add your red stripes, two coats drying throughly between coats.

Use antiquing gel to age your bottle. While that’s drying paint your wood stars with white. Let dry then add another coat.

Lightly sand your bottle, then seal with Mod Podge.

Glue your wood stars in place. Saving two of the stars, drill a hole in each then connect a star to each end of your wire.

Using the end of your paintbrush wrap the wire behind your stars a couple times around the paintbrush.

Then wrap the wire around the neck of your bottle and give it a twist to hold it in place.

The two stars will stick out a little off of your upcycled bottle.

Add your flowers and that’s it. I found these flowers and foil sprigs at the Dollar Tree.
