Old Wood Drawer Gets New Life
When I bought this drawer, at the time I was going to make some kind of a table display to use at craft shows. Then I started seeing all kinds of cool projects made from old wood drawers, dog beds, drawers on wheels for under the bed, night stands, plant stands, etc.
There are so many creative ideas out there for upcycling old wooden drawers.
Well I had about decided on turning the old wood drawer in a plant stand/table until my hubby said "since you don't have a lot of space in your craft room, why not make a drop down photo box out of the old drawer".
Great idea! I could attach it right by the window, then when opened, it will drop down in front of the window so I can get filter sunlight.
Then when closed it takes up little to no space.
My new drop down photo box works great. I can't put anything real heavy on it, but it's great for taking pictures of my jewelry, and other small items. Big items I just take outside to take my pictures.
