I seen a drawer repurposed into a pet bed on Pinterest, and thought it was so cute I had to make one.
Don’t think my dogs care for it much. But that’s ok, once we finish our remodel and sale the house I’m going to get a kitten. I’m sure she will love it.
I first removed the handle, and cleaned it up then gave it a coat of spray paint.
Then I gave my old drawer a quick sanding.
Then I flipped it over and attached a piece of plywood to strengthen the bottom of the drawer.
Then came the legs.
I pre drilled my holes for the legs so I wouldn't split the wood.
Then I gave it a couple coats of paint, and but the handle back on.
I found the pillow at garden ridge for 80% off, I purchased it for $1.99 What a bargain.
It took several tries to get this picture. Papi wouldn't lay there for long, and Sally wouldn't lay there at all.
Don't you think this is a cute idea for recycling an old drawer?
