Diy Scrapbook Paper Blocks
Here’s a few of my diy scrapbook paper blocks made from wood & scrapbook paper.
I love making these scrapbook paper blocks because they are quick and easy, and there are so many different things you can make from them.
These particular blocks have all been stenciled or handpainted lettering like the PAW prints below.
How To Make Scrapbook Paper Blocks
To make any of these scrapbook paper blocks all you need to do is cut a 2″ by 4″ block or 2″ by 6″, whatever size you chose.
Sand then stain, paint, or age the wood block.
Once dry cut a piece of scrapbook paper approximately the size of your block.
Paint one side of your block with Mod Podge, then starting on one side smooth the scrapbook paper down rubbing out any air bubbles.
Flip over and place on wax paper placing something heavy on top till dry.
Once dry sand the edges so that none of the scrapbook paper is hanging over the edge.
Then using fine sandpaper gently sand the top of the scrapbook paper. This will give it an aged look.
Now your ready to stencil, paint, decorate your scrapbook paper block however you choose. Instead of stenciling you could add a cross or a clip and make it a photo block.
Would love to see any scrapbook paper blocks that you make. Just email me a pic or leave a link below in the comments.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you stop back by and checkout some of my other diy projects.

I love these!!! I really need to try this! I think it would be cute for some stacking blocks for my daughter’s room. Or the “Mr. and Mrs” one for a wedding present.

Thanks Katie! That’s a great idea, you could get scrapbook paper that would match your daughters décor. And I have sold some of the Mr. and Mrs. for wedding gifts. Thanks for stopping by!
