Last week I made some Texas Coasters out of Travertine tile. But in order to make my stars I had to either paint them on, or I needed a star stamp.
Really not wanting to paint it on I chose to use a stamp. Now since I didn’t have a star stamp I either had to go buy one or make my own.
Anyone that knows me by now knows that if I can make it instead of buying, that’s what I’m going to do.

How To Make A Star Stamp
Place the wooden star on your felt and trace around it. Then cut out the star shape.
Glue the felt star on top of the wooden star.
Flip over and glue the small cork on the wooden star.
Let dry and you’re star stamp is ready to go.
If you don’t have a wood star cutout you can compromise by cutting your star out from some corrugated cardboard, then glue the felt on that.
I hope my diy star stamp gives you some ideas if you ever need to make a stamp for a project your working on.
Have a great day!

Can these DIY Texas tiles be used as accent trim in a little used shower?
Linda @ Mixed Kreations says
Hi Ms Marty! I would not recommend it unless you have some kind of a sealer made for showers.
