Here is Dakota my beautiful little orphan kitty. My daughter found her when she was just a few days old and fed her goats milk till she was able to eat solids.
I got her when she was 6-7 weeks old. Isn’t she a cutie?
Here’s Dakota with my beautiful granddaughter. Isn’t she a beauty? (-:
Love her beautiful blue eyes!
Not so blue her, she’s a little mad about laying on her back to get her picture.
Sleeping in her bed with her homemade you.
There those pretty blue eyes again.
Here’s Dakota helping me work on my blog.
Dakota’s second road trip, going back to visit her other mommy that nursed her when she was a baby.
She road on this pillow or my on shoulder for 5 hours. That was a long ride.
She’s changed a lot since she was a kitten.
Poor thing has had a rough life getting to play and lay around.
She’s gets pretty silly at times and likes to look out at the world upside down.
She naps in odd positions at times.
Doesn’t look very comfy to me.
We decided Dakota needed a play mate and someone to keep her company when we are gone.
So we adopted Kylie our feral kitty. She somehow got out of the area we had her pinned up in and disappeared for three days, and only came out at night when no one was around to eat and do her business.
On the third day I noticed a white speck move in one of my potted plants. When I went to investigate I found Kylie.
Kylie was 3 months old when we adopted her and a wild little kitty, and still is.
At first Dakota wouldn’t have anything to do with her and would give us mean looks. Like why the **** heck you bring that wild thing here. She wouldn’t have anything to do with her but would just lay there watching her.
Then she settled down and just watched the crazy little wild cat.
After about a week ……..
They became best buds.
The life of Dakota & Kylie kitties must be rough.
They sleep together and run and play, and get a little too wild at times.
I’ve never had a cat that laid like this, only dogs. But Kylie lays like this all the time.
Smile for the camera.
Crazy kitty’s!
Must be rough being a cat.
Dakota’s ready to bounce when Kylie walks by.
We came home one day to Dakota lying on Kylie.
It was the funniest thing, but I guess they were comfy.
This is how they sleep at night at the foot of our bed.
It must be rough living a cats life!
