Do you have tons of old buttons, that you have been saving over the years? Knowing that one day you will find a use for them. Here is a cute and simple project that I found, where you can get rid of some of your collection of buttons. The flower petals in this project are made from aged pages of an old book. 
Make a bouquet of flowers, then put them in a old vintage bottle for your vase. This will make for a unique vintage bouquet of flowers.
If you don't have a book with aged pages, make your own aged pages. You will find instructions here, (near the bottom of the page on how to age paper).
I think these little vintage button flower would make really cute brooches & magnets. Read more...
