Here I am at work while most of you are at home, some still sleeping. But most of the time I don’t mine, except when my girls are in town (they are off on weekends) so I would like to be off then so I could spend more time with them. Other then that I’m fine working weekends and off during the week. When your off in the week you don’t have to fight the crowd when going to the store. I like that.
Well today during my down time I am learning two things. First how to make a monkey fist. After watching the video about ten times I finally made one. I will be using monkey fist for some of my necklace and bracelet clasp. So here it is.
Yay! I did it. My first handmade monkey fist ( and don’t ask me why they call it a monkeys fist, I have no clue. If anyone knowns please tell us why in the comments).
The second thing I’m learning today is my new WordPress mobile app. This will take some getting use to. I already lost half of my post once and had to redo it.
Just lost part of it again. )-; Well now I can take pics from my iPhone and post. That is if it cooperates with me. Well here goes.

Thanks for showing me how you made this monkey fist. I’ve been wanting a monkey fist clasp for one of my bracelets, so it helps to see how it’s made. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it used for a necklace, so I might consider that the next time I want a new one. Thanks for sharing this!

I like it, but where can I find the big clasp to attach mines to a motorcycle. It had three finger that goes over the handlebars and a slip lock to stay close.
Hi Lavon! I’m not sure what you are referring to as the big clasp. This does not have a big clasp.
