Today I am taking a me day, a well deserved me day! I have been so tired lately since work has picked up for spring break, that some days I’ve been going to bed earlier then my normal 6pm.
Well today I look my mother out for breakfast, where we met my brother and his wife, my cousin my age, and my other cousin and her husband and a friend of theirs all my mothers age.
Then we went to see my cousins fixer upper house. And boy do they have there work cut out for them.
After that we went to Habitat for Humanity and the thrift store. I found some drawer fronts, and a couple small wood drawers.
The drawer fronts I can make signs out of.
Not sure what I’m going to use the drawers for yet, but I couldn’t pass them up. Love this small brown drawer.
Found the cute little metal tub at the thrift store.
I thought it made a cute planter for the succulents the hubby bought me.
We had a really nice time today, and I know my mother really enjoyed the visiting.
So that’s what I did on my “Taking A Me Day”.

What a wonderful day! And could it get any better? Hanging out with loved ones and discovering fantastic finds at a thrift store. I do love that tub…you can do so many things with it.
Wishing you a wonderful day.
Hugs, Lynn

Hi Linda, What a wonderful ‘me’ day. Sheer perfection. Hanging out with loved ones and then scoring some great finds at the thrift store. The tub is fantastic…there are so many things you can do with it. Great finds.
Hugs and wishes for a great Thursday.

Thanks Lynn! I don’t get to many Me day’s, but I’ve just been feeling so overwhelmed from trying to keep up with blogging and so wore out from work. And what better way to spend the day with family and thrifting.
