Linda, I’m a winter soup person. I could eat it every day. I love how it warms me from the inside out. When I worked in the restaurant world they used to make cabbage soup, it was always delicious and I’ve never quite figured out the recipe on my own. But this sounds like the one they used to make. I am definitely adding this to our soup list for the colder weather, and I bet that I can even make it in the slow cooker to save time and my sanity too! LOL And it sounds like just the right amount of spice to give it good flavor and kick it up a notch! As Emeril says “Bam”!

I’m a soup person too, but I can eat it anytime of the year. This one would probably be better in the winter because not only will it be hot from the fire, but the spicy as well.
I love it too because it has a good tomato flavor. I love tomatoes.
