Diy Fall Twig Wreath
I’ve seen a few wreaths made from twigs on Pinterest, so I thought that I would give it a try and make my own “Fall twig wreath”.Diy Twig Fall Wreath

This was a pretty simple project, and I had everything on hand except for the fall sprigs which I picked up for .97 at Walmart.

First I cut 12 small limbs off of a bush that we are going to remove.

Then I removed the leaves from the limbs and threw in my compost bin.

Next I formed a frame using 3 twigs per side, overlapping the twigs.

Now I’m ready to start tying each corner of my Fall twig wreath together using jute/twine

When my fall twig wreath frame is together I trimmed any limbs that needed to be trimmed to even it up.

I took a leftover piece of a cedar picket approximately 7″ in length, gave it a quick sanding then gave it a coat of orange acrylic paint. Diy Twig Fall Wreath

I cut out four burlap triangles for my burlap banner and ran a bead of hot glue around the edges to keep it from unraveling. Then stenciled the letters “FALL” on the burlap. Diy Twig Fall Wreath
I then cut about a 2″ piece off of a wood paint stick and painted it green, and painted a small wood star black. Once dry lightly sand the edges.

Glue the paint stick and star onto your pumpkin.

I screwed two small screws into the back of my pumpkin then I used wire to wrap around one screw then brought the wire around my twigs and back up, and wrapped around the other screw to attach my pumpkin to the right side of my fall twig wreath.

I then tied a piece of raffia around the stem, and glued on a couple of fall leaves.

I attached the fall sprigs  to the left side of my twig frame with floral wire. Diy Twig Fall Wreath

And last of all I punched small holes in the burlap to run twine through, then tied each end to the top corners of my frame.

And there you have it an easy diy fall twig wreath to hang on the door or over the mantel.

Have you made any kind of decor using twigs?
