Here’s a simple project you can make to add a little rustic charm to your home, or make some up to give as gifts with Christmas coming up.

Materials Needed

1 – 7 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ block of wood (from 2×8) Sanded
Acrylic paint- grey, white, Indian turquoise
Metal cross
Vintage drawer pull
Gorilla glue

First paint your block of wood grey. Once dry take your turquoise ( or color of your choosing) and dry brush the color on leaving gaps of the grey showing through.

While that’s drying take your cross and dry brush very lightly a little white onto the cross.

Glue the cross to the center of your wooden block. Remove the bolt from your drawer pull and glue it to the top center of your wood.

If the bolted can’t be removed, then drill a hole in the top center of wood, the size of the bolt. Squirt a little glue in hole and add drawer pull.

All done (-;
