DIY Arrow Love Block

For this Valentine project I started off with a piece of leftover two by four.

Then I dry brushed some white acrylic paint on the top, two sides, and ends.

After that I added my arrow with black acrylic paint.

Next I cut out a paper heart that I’m going to use to trace around on my arrow love sign. Then I stenciled the letters onto my wood. Once that dried I trace off the heart in place.

Then I gave the heart two coats of red acrylic paint, drying thoroughly in between each coat. I used my stylus pen to make a little comma on my heart with white acrylic paint.

That’s all there is to making this easy diy arrow love sign on wood.

I love the font you used Linda and how you added a heart instead of the O over the arrow. It looks so pretty and we have tons of left over pallet bits out back. I think this is a great way to add a little bit of love to those pallet bits.

Thanks Michelle! I don’t have very many stencils, and this font was the one that fit best. Since it’s for Valentines day I needed to add a heart somewhere Pallet bits will be perfect for some cute Valentines day signs.

Linda I like this one even more than the other one. I am very partial to black and white. And of course the heart gives it the perfect pop of color.

Thank you Mary! I haven’t ever done any projects with arrow before, but I believe that I will be doing more.

Thank you Sarah! It would’t be a Valentines Day sign without red or a heart 😉 and I love simple.
