Easy Crockpot Meatloaf

You can’t go wrong with this easy no mess crockpot meatloaf! I love the plain old fashion meatloaf that my mother use to make.

Very simple recipe that I have always cooked in the oven well no more since I tried cooking it once in the crockpot.

Loved it! No mess!

Prepare Crock For No Mess Crockpot Meatloaf

Line your crockpot with aluminum foil. This makes for an easy cleanup, and who doesn’t love an easy cleanup.

Ingredients For No Mess Crockpot Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
  • 20 crumbled saltine crackers
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

How To Make No Mess Crockpot Meatloaf

1) Place ground beef in large bowl.

2) Sprinkle one package of Lipton onion soup mix over beef.

3) Add chopped onions.

4) Add crumbled crackers.

5) Add salt & pepper.

6) Add your two eggs.

Now for the fun part! Stick your hands in the bowl and mix it all together.

Once it’s all mixed up form a ball a little smaller then the crockpot.

Now drop your no mess crockpot meatloaf ball into your crockpot.

Cook on low for 6 hours, or until done.

Once your meatloaf is done lift it out and place on a plate to slice, serve with my favorite mash potatoes and corn. YUM!

Any leftovers make a yummy meatloaf sandwich.

When you are ready to wash your crockpot you will understand why I call this meatloaf the “no mess crockpot meatloaf “.

If you try this meatloaf recipe let me know what you think.

Do you have a favorite meatloaf recipe?

Not a meatloaf person, but still I love that you did this in the crockpot and since my husband does love a good meatloaf might have to try for him now 🙂

We love meatloaf, it’s Levi’s favorite meal. Especially paired with mashed potatoes and gravy. I’ve never thought about cooking this up in the crockpot, I didn’t even think about it, but this is a great idea! And the foil in the crockpot is brilliant! Hate cleanup!

And yes, the best part, mixing the meatloaf up with your hands. YUCK! Have this part. I usually get the husband to do that part! LOL

You can’t have meatloaf without mash potatoes and gravy. I wish I had known this method a long time ago. So easy and clean up is easy. I see so many things now days cook in the crockpot that I never would of thought of cooking in one.

That looks like a great, simple recipe. I love the idea of adding the foil to the slow cooker, will have to remember that one! Thanks for sharing with the Blog Fair.
