Here’s another easy Diy Valentine’s Day project, Key to my heart wall art.
I already had a couple of these picket sign boards put together and age when I was working on another project.
Dry brush white acrylic paint on the front of the sign board. I love the rustic style so I left a lot of the aged wood showing through.
Trace a heart shaped or freehand the heart onto the center of the wood.
Fill in the heart with red acrylic paint. I used two coats for this heart.
Place your metal key onto your heart then drill to small holes on each side of the key.
Use wire to attach your key, twist wire from the back to tighten and hold key in place.
Either add a sawtooth hook on the back, or drill a hole at the top corners and add some wire to hang the key to my heart wall art.
That’s it for my easy Valentine’s day project! Wasn’t that easy? What have you made for Valentine’s Day?

Linda seeing that antique white key made me miss all the keys that I left back in Greece. It looks so great right there in the middle of that heart. Great project!
Thank you Mary! That’s sad that you left your keys behind 🙁 Maybe you can bring them back with you sometime.
