What is Handmade Artists?
Handmade Artists is a community where likeminded artisans can give advice, honest feedback, support, share their creations, and promote their items to a wider online audience. This wonderful group of artisans has come together as a community to share how to avoid pitfalls, and the joy of selling their handmade and creative process.

Andrew and Kimberly Kitchen are the back bone and owners of Handmade Artists. Not only do they manage and take care of their members by promoting constantly, quick at responding to questions, but they both work full time and are artists themselves. They are very receptive to feedback, in fact they even ask for feedback whenever they want to try something different to help the handmade movement even more.

Andrew and Kimberly have two shops “Chainmaille by MBOI” and “Makein’ the Best of it”, in addition to owning and managing Handmade Artist Forum, Shop, and Blog. They also own and manage the site’s “It’s Better Handmade” and “Promote Handmade”. As you can see they do everything that they can to help and support the Handmade Community.

Handmade Artists Shop
This is the place to set up shop, to sell your handmade. Very low start up at only $5 a month or $50 a year, no commissions or listing fees. Although Handmade Artist (HA) is smaller than other sites like Etsy and Artfire, it is growing daily. You will not find mass produced goods sold as handmade. So if you are looking to buy handmade that’s exactly what you will find, and if you’re looking to sell you won’t be competing with mass produced items that can be sold at really low prices.

Handmade Artists Blog
The Handmade Artists Blog is where you will not only find the highlights that are put together by other creative members, but you will find post written by Kimberly featuring other talented artists, helpful and inspiring post written by other creative members.

Handmade Forum
The Handmade Artists Forum is the place to get advice, support, promote, post you events and giveaways, join contest, Social network rings, looking for business tips, tutorials, share your latest creations, or just want to share something about your everyday life.

You will not only find Andrew and Kimberly very active in the forum but, you will also find a great group of very talented and knowledgeable individuals that are always there to help others, whether it’s advice, feedback, promoting, etc.

It’s better Handmade
Is a blog dedicated to helping the handmade artists succeed. Your will find crafters, and artist of all kinds, who come together and support one another. You will find post on various mediums, helpful information, featured artist, and more. You can submit an article or share one of your creations. Its Better Handmade is a great place to get exposure, support, make friends, and to show some love and support for other handmade artisans.

Promote Handmade is another site dedicated to help the handmade artist succeed. Promote Handmade is three different groups that have band together to support the handmade movement. Promote Handmade is Andrews brainchild, It’s Better Handmade is Kimberly’s, and On Fire for Handmade is Anne, another big supporter of the handmade. You can find all three on Facebook.

Whether you already have a handmade business, just starting out, or just crafting for the fun of it, the Handmade Artist is a wonderful community to join, where you will find a fantastic group of talented individuals that are there to help and support in the handmade movement.

I would like to Thank Andrew, Kimberly, and Anne for all the long hours and hard work that each of you put into helping the handmade artist. Ya'll are the best, and greatly appreciated. I have never seen anyone so committed to helping the handmade artist as you three. Thank you!!!

I would also like to thank all the wonderful and talented member of Handmade Artist. Ya’ll have always been there to help, whether it’s to give advice, tips, promoting each other’s creations, or just being a friend. Thank you!!!

If I have left anything on how wonderful the “Handmade Artists” is, Please add to the list by leaving a comment below. Thanks!
