Diy Rustic Photo Display
For this rustic photo display I started with a left over piece of cedar fence picket, and gave it a quick sanding.
I dry brushed some acrylic turquoise colored paint on the cedar picket leaving some of the wood showing through.
Next I dry brushed a little black acrylic paint.
Then a little white acrylic paint.
Once dry I wrapped about 2′ of wire around the bottom portion of the cedar picket. Using pliers I twist the wires together on the back, trimmed ends and tucked under.
Then I wrapped approximately 2′ of wire around the top portion of the wood photo holder.
Flip over, twist wires together to hold the wire in place, trim ends and tuck under.
I added a few fabric flowers that I had made at an earlier time to the bottom of the rustic photo display.
Add a picture and that’s it, you have a rustic photo holder to display your favorite photo.
What an adorable way to display a treasured photo! I love how you have painted the wood! So pretty!

Thank you Gigi!
This is lovely, Linda. The colors are so pretty, I really like how you layered all the paints, and the rosettes add a cozy touch.
Thanks Pili! I love the rustic style and I thought that the little rosettes would just add to the style.
That’s so pretty. Love the color combination and how you used the wire to hold the photo. Stunning idea.
Thank you Michelle! It’s a fun way to display pictures.
