In today's market, the old saying "It's what's inside the box that counts", is not always true. Especially when it comes to packaging jewelry. A beautiful piece of jewelry deserves to be packaged beautifully. Many businesses do not realize how important that the way you package your handmade jewelry for your business is. Packaging not only protects your jewelry, but it also represents your brand, therefore giving you an excellent opportunity to market your brand.

When packaging your jewelry, you will not only want to be creative and different so that your packaging will stand out from your competition, but you will want to keep your packaging in line with your business marketing brand. By using the same colors and logo as your other marketing materials, you are helping buyers identify your business from other businesses, making it easier for them to find you, and your customers will appreciate that.

Attractive packaging not only enhances the product for gift giving, but may also be the tool you need to convert first time buyers into loyal customers. You don't have to spend a lot of money for pretty packaging, but be consistent with you brand identity.

Packaging is a very important marketing strategy, therefore by spend a little extra time and money making your packaging attractive will not only protect your jewelry and show it off in an attractive manner, but you will be building and marketing your brand, helping your customers identify you, converting first time buyers into returning customers.

Attractive packaging is just as important as the beautiful handcrafted piece of jewelry inside the packaging. Give your customers a shopping experience they will remember. Wrap your jewelry in some pretty tissue paper before placing in a pretty box with a bow, or a nice pretty bag. Place your business card inside, and by placing a little something extra inside for them to discover upon opening makes them feel appreciated, helps build your brand, customer loyalty, and conveys the message "This gift is for you".

Always remember, first impressions are everything!
