Two pages from an old book

Apply Mod Podge to the first page and stack another on top.

Punch the hole for your jump ring.

Add Mod Podge to both sides of your page stack and to the edge that will be your binding. Center page stack on your leather, and close the leather book. Sit something on top of it to hold it close while it dries, 30 minutes or so.

adding key to mini book (700x523)

I ran the yarn through my jump ring just to hold it on so that it wouldn’t slide off. Then add your key charm and wrap the yarn around the mini book a couple times.

Tie a knot in the yarn, and trim the ends.

OMW how cute is this Linda. It would be the perfect addition to one of our miniatures. Adding real book pages on the inside make it seem so much more realistic. I love how you did it!!

Thank you Michelle! I’ve been wanting to try my hand at making a journal every since I’ve made the little book. Got it on my list, just have’nt gotten to it. But after seeing your beautiful journal it’s brought it back to mind.
