With the New Year big changes for us, starting with the hubby switching jobs. Which I am very happy for him! This new job is a great opportunity with advancements, which his last job had no chance for advancement, in fact they were phasing his department out.

New Year Big Changes

More New Year Big Changes

The bad part is ever since we got together we have been riding to work together. But now I will be riding to work in the middle of the night alone, and it’s one hour one way. Not liking that at all.

Another thing that I’m not liking is beside his normal hours he has weekends off, and I don’t. So, I work weekends while he is off, and I have to be in bed before he gets home on my work nights. We are going from seeing each other quite a bit to not seeing each other except on Saturday and Sunday when I get home from work. Then on Monday night because that’s my Saturday so I can stay up later.

Don’t get me wrong I am happy for him, it’s just a big adjustment for both of us. But once he gets through with his training he supposedly can work from home 2-3 days a week. He will be able to pick those days, and hours. As long as he gets his 80 hours per pay period.

The New Year has brought some big changes.

On my next shift bid I will try to start an hour later, and have Friday/Saturday off (keeping my fingers crossed). Once these changes take place things will be better. But that won’t happen for at least another 5 months.

The next change is to my blog. I am cutting back my posting to one post per week, so that I can get ahead. I will be concentrating on getting post scheduled ahead up to 3 months. Updating old contents, working on SEO, getting my post scheduled ahead on social media, getting a daily tasks schedule that works for me.

Hoping this will also give me more time to go through The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit eBook courses, and video’s that I’ve purchased recently, and have barely had a chance to go through.

Then there’s some that I would like to go back through again like the Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers, the eBook courses, Dominate the search engines, and Skyrocket Your Page views, and Building a Framework: The Ultimate Blogging Handbook. All excellent courses full of lots of great information, I just need more time to go through them, and then put the things that I am learning into action.

I guess that’s about it for our New Year Big Changes. What types of changes has the New Year brought for you?

Wow, that’s going to take a bit of adjusting Linda. Wishing you guys all the luck and love in the world. Change can be good in so many ways but sometimes it takes time to adjust. I’ll miss your regular posts, but I’m glad to hear that you’ll still be sharing all your beautiful creations and some things are worth waiting for 😉

Thank you Michelle! It is a big adjustment, and this is only the second week. I know its for the best, and it will get better.
Now I need to just concentrate on my blog, and get ahead. I will still be posting once a week. Then when I get several months ahead I can go back to twice a week.

Why did I not see this earlier? Those are some big changes coming your way Linda. But I’m sure once the hubby gets done with his training and he has time to work from home things will be much better. I also have a ton of reading to do on the blog Linda but I never get around to it.

So much for getting ahead, I’m still trying to stay a float and get ahead. So much to do and not enough time. I’ve been trying to go through some of the e-courses when I can but it’s slow going.

Yes once the hubby gets done with all the training it should get better. I just hope they don’t send him away again for training. I am disliking this apart time. Five weeks is a long time. )-:
