You will never believe what this pig planter with faux succulents use to be before I turned it into a planter. A toilet bowl brush holder (how gross). I think it makes a much cuter planter.

Pig planter with faux succulents

This diy project is so easy that anyone could do it, so I really don’t know why I made a tutorial for it other then I think it is sooooo cute, and I wanted to share. (Coming from a pig collector)

How To Make A Faux Succulent Planter

The first thing I did was to removed the cup that held the toilet brush, then I washed the little pig with hot soapy water.

Then I filled it with Spanish Moss. You could fill half way with rocks then the rest of the way with Spanish Moss, if you wanted to add a little weight to the faux succulent planter.

If your planter is shallow you will either need to cut the stems of your faux succulents, or bend them over to fit.

Arrange them in your planter, then add a single artificial flower. Thats it!

Here it is with some of my other little pigs, and they go perfect together.

Oh by the way I collect cows, and chickens as well.

I love how my pig planter with faux succulents turned out. Isn’t it so cute!

Who loves a cute little piglet? This girl does! And he is such a fun, surprising addition to the decor, you could put him in any room. And since the succulents are faux I wouldn’t have to worry about watering them. I am really bad about that!

I’m off to look for a pig! LOL! First time I think I’ve ever typed that in a blog comment!

Thank you Nikki! I’m a pig collector, and I thought this little piggy needed something other then a toilet brush sticking out of him. Lol. After I killed a few succulents I have come to love the faux succulents and they look so real, so I thought they would be perfect.
