What cute ideas for denim! Now I am thinking what to do with a couple old pairs of jeans I have sitting in my sewing room.

I know right! While looking for these projects I found so many I want to make. I’ve been holding on to a couple pair of old jeans, now just got to figure out what to make. There’s a couple of the handbags I really like, but I’m not real big on sewing!

Great collection of ways to use jeans – I don’t wear them anymore but hubby does and I always resist throwing them out when he puts holes in the knees.

Thanks Jacki! Oh I live in my jeans. I’ve got a few worn pair I’ve been hanging onto, plus I’m sure I have some that don’t fit anymore.

Hi Linda, thanks for the roundup of great ideas. As you know, I’m in the midst of my declutter, and I know I’ll have several pairs of jeans that need to find a new home or a new use. You’ve given me some alternatives to just tossing them.

    Have a great day, Lynn

Hi Lynn, I understand the declutter I did to really get down to that as well. As much as I love my blue jeans when it comes parting with them even if there worn out or I’ve out grown them I still have a hard time throwing them out. Now I have plenty of reasons to keep them ;-D

    Great way to repurpose

What a cool way to up-cycle jeans that you don’t wear any more. Thanks for sharing your collection at the Over the Moon Link Party.

Linda, these are awesome! I too wear my jeans til they fall apart, when you actually find a pair you love why give them up. Finding a pair that fits in all the right places is harder than it would seem! LOL

All of these projects are so cool, but I really love the baskets! My mom made a huge rag rug out of strips of jeans, it was the coolest!!!

Thanks Nikki! I know, right! I love the basket as well, and I would love to have a rag rug made of jeans. I love all the bags too, I just don’t really like to sew.
