I ran across a recipe for chocolate biscotti and decided to give it a try. The hubby loves biscotti with his coffee, so I wanted to surprise him with some when he got home. Now all I need is something special to store it in, and this empty plastic container that I had been saving made the perfect repurposed plastic container for the chocolate biscotti.
Now all it needs is some prettying up. I know it’s not very manly looking, but hey this is a quick repurposing, and I was working with what I had on hand.
Anyway to the hubby, it’s what’s inside the repurposed plastic container that counts.

Easy Repurposed Plastic Container
First off you will need a container that you want to repurpose, fabric, Mod Podge, scissors, and paint brush.
Trace around the bottom of your container.
Cut your bottom piece out.
Mod Podge the bottom piece on.
Measure the length, and around the container that you are repurposing, then cut your fabric to those dimensions.
Start with one end of your fabric and using Mod Podge glue it to your container.
Apply a coat of Mod Podge over the fabric. Let dry.
Now flip your container upright and use Mod Podge to glue the raw edge of your fabric down.
Paint the lid and pull knob, I added three coats. Once dry add a coat of Mod Podge for protection.
Glue your pull knob onto the lid and let dry throughly.
I stenciled the word Biscotti on a piece of burlap, and once the paint was dry I Mod Podged it onto my repurposed container.
Then I stuffed it with homemade biscotti.
The hubby loved it!!!

Thank you Mary! Can you believe I only discovered Mod Podge about 4 years ago. I can’t believe that I made it through most of my life without discovering it, LOL. Love the stuff! Thanks for the invite!
