With summer coming on I wanted to share something that I know some of you will face if you have pets coming in and out of your house. This topic is a little out of the ordinary but will help those of you that may have a fleas problem this summer. Those peaky little fleas like to hitch a ride on pets, then jump off once in the house and bury their little pain in the butt selves in your carpet or even on your furniture causing you a flea problem. This is where my All Natural Homemade Flea Trap comes in.

Do You Have a Flea Problem

My cat is a stay in the house pet so I don’t have to worry about her bring fleas in the house. But I do remember several times with dogs having a flea problem, and every time I would walk across the carpet the little pest would attach my feet and bite leaving little red spots all over my feet.

Once the pesky fleas get in the house they are really hard to get rid of. We set off bug bombs in the house, having to leave the house for several hours, then air our the house when getting back home. Having little ones I really didn’t like using the bug bomb, they would have to go stay at grandma’s until the house was completely aired out, and that wasn’t a guarantee that my flea problem would be solved.

Years ago I found an all natural homemade flea trap for killing the pesky fleas without chemicals and it works wonders. What can be better then an all natural no chemical way of ridding yourself of your flea problem? This all happens while you are sleeping. What’s that you say? Yes, I will show you an easy all natural homemade flea trap that you can set up and rid yourself of your flea problem while you are sleeping, and it really does work! I have used this homemade flea trap for years with great results, until I finally bought one online. But it is not necessary to buy a flea trap when you can make your own homemade flea trap from items you probably already have on hand.

How To Make A All Natural Homemade Flea Trap

Set your light at night before going to bed. Fleas are drawn to the light. They will jump towards the light and fall into the pan of soapy water, then sink and drown. Be sure to turn other house lights off so the lamp is all that’s shining.

1. First you will need one aluminum pie pan (Affiliate) or large metal lid.
2. Add a couple squirts of dish soap 9in your pan then fill with water.
3. Sit pie pan on floor in the infested area or near infested area if furniture.
4. Place a small desk lamp on the floor next to pie pan with the light shining in the pan. Adjust the light so it’s shining in the water only, as best as you can. (If needed use something to prop it up)
5. Turn on the lamp light and go to bed.

In the morning you will find the tiny pesky fleas in your soapy water. Depending on how bad the infestation is, you may need to setup homemade flea trap for several nights in a roll.

Here is the one that I finally bought. The pads didn’t work so I just replaced the pads with water. But the homemade trap works just as well.

Give this all natural no chemical homemade flea trap a try, while you are sleeping, you will be amazed. Heck it has even been known to catch a fly or two.

Let me know how it worked, and please share so others with a flea problem can rid themselves of the pest with this homemade flea trap.
