My little helper

My little helper

This post is about two weeks late coming, but I thought that I could make the switch a little quicker and smoother then it’s going. )-; So I just wanted to let my followers know that I am in the process of changing my hosting service for my blog. Hopefully everything will be straight soon.

I am doing away with my website, and just going to keep my blog, but switching from Yahoo to Bluehost because Yahoo doesn’t provide tech support.

It is just too much trying to keep up with my website (haven’t worked on it in months), blog, and work a full time job, plus everything else.

When I have technical issues, and email yahoo it takes 2-3 days for a response, then the response is go to forum for help we don’t have tech support for blog, just website )-; If your not very tech savvy then that doesn’t help much.

So I’m switching to BlueHost where I will have online chat tech support. And so far the longest I have waited was 18 minutes during peak hours. Usually it’s about 3 minutes, plus their email response is a lot quicker.

I was going to transfer my domain too, but after the third email with support I found out if I transfer domain I will lose my business email account, so I’m going to downgrade my account and keep my domain with yahoo so that I can keep my email account, and not lose all my connections.

Everything is so complicated and takes lots of time that I just don’t have. I will be so happy when it’s all in place.

My blog has been transferred, now hopefully this evening I can redirect my new blog to my domain. Then next step is switching to Genesis framework and new theme, then I will be good to go.

So for now that’s what’s going on. I’m still around and have a few tutorials, and recipes coming.

Hope you follow me over to my new blog, and look forward in receiving your comments. For now you can find me here. Until next time, Have a great day!
