This unique handcrafted necklace is made from 20, 18, 16 and 14 gauge copper wire.
I used 18 gauge to wire wrap green glass beads, 18 gauge for a double loop that I wrapped with 20 gauge. The messy wrapped circles are made from 18 gauge, jumprings are hand cut from 16 gauge wire and the closure is a hook clasp hand-formed from 14 gauge wire.
The large wire wrapped focal is made from 18 gauge copper wire.
I then added a patina, then tumbled to work harden and polish before putting the necklace together.
I take special care not to mar each piece I make. Imperfections do happen, but that just add to the character of each piece.
Necklace measures 22-23″ in length.
